HELP!! Urgent Cichlid help

Hi

I have a 4ft Malawi Cichlid tank that has been running fine for about 6 years now but the last week i am getting an issue!

The fish have started panting and have gone very pale.

They are still eating as normal and as far as i can tell are moving around as normal too.

I tried doing a 1/3rd water change, didn't solve the issue. Waited a few days, did a half water change, didn't solve anything.

The water is ever so slightly cloudy too, hardly noticeable but i can tell its there.

Can anyone help?

Cichlids are not my field, but sure someone will be along soon to help. I'll see what i can find.

would need to know the chemistry of the water..maybe your system has crashed
